Drum Cussac Maritime Division has developed a practical approach to helping the oil and gas industry meet their security obligations. We can assist you in the development and conduct of:

  • Installation Gap Analyses
  • Security assessments
  • On-scene security surveys
  • Security plans
  • Accredited Security Training

Understanding your requirements

Security requirements can be complex and far-reaching. We routinely communicate with the industry’s decision makers ensuring our advice is based on the most current and relevant information. Drum Cussac will work with you to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective range of advisory services to suit your requirements.

Gap Analysis

Installations can be very complex. Our Gap Analysis provides a detailed report of the security requirements necessary to meet your needs, outlines training required for security officers and employees, and how to develop a security plan integrated into your management system. These services will be based on one of the following levels of assistance, depending on your specific needs.

Assistance level 1

Following Drum Cussac training for your security staff, you carry out the security assessments and develop the security plan for the installation. We will then review and comment on the assessments and plans prior to submission for approval.

Assistance level 2

Drum Cussac will advise you on the development of the security policies and procedures required. We will develop a generic security assessment template containing a provisional list of potential threat scenarios for each type of installation. Your staff, under our guidance, will be able to complete a security assessment for each remaining installation. Our security experts will advise and teach the security officer how to undertake the on-scene security survey. Based on generic security assessments, and using expert security knowledge, we will develop security plan templates. Your staff can then use these to develop the other security plans for the remaining installations.

Assistance level 3

We will carry out the security assessments and on scene security survey and develop the security plan for each installation.

In-house training

Though not specifically required, there is a need for security management training. Drum Cussac provides approved training courses for Security officers, employees and the company management team. This training is available worldwide, at times and locations of your choice.
