Construction supervisor experience is a requirement

Roles (Basic Function and Scope)
• Manage the Project Execution Groups Construction Team to ensure all projects and construction activities are executed safely, cost effectively and to schedule, delivering facilities fit-for-purpose meeting the defined safety and quality standards with minimum life cycle costs.
• The projects are associated with onshore and offshore oil and gas production, compression and treating facilities. The projects will involve new facilities and / or existing facilities. Work on existing facilities may involve demolition, retrofit or addition of new facilities. The projects are located offshore and onshore Nigeria.
Responsibilities (Duties Performed)
• Project Execution, Construction and Leadership
• Submit daily reports on project status to Project Management Team Lead.
• Review & endorse all safety, quality, and construction plans and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of contractors during construction phase.
• Work with Project Management Team to ensure all work activities are carried out to construction work scope.
• Ensure knowledge in MPN Safety, Work Management Procedures and SIMOPS Manuals.
• Ensure required QA/QC Systems are in place and adhere to.
• Provide leadership, supervision, construction technical guidance and mentoring to personnel.
• Ensure daily toolbox and monthly safety meetings are conducted and recorded.
Minimum Requirements/Education
• HND or higher in Engineering Discipline
• Oil and Gas Project experience
• 8 years Construction of Oil and Gas production, compression and treating facilities
• 5 years experience in field project supervision
• 5 Construction experience in a brownfield environment
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
Other
• Must be medically fit for duty (physical exam required).
• Must participate in drug and alcohol testing and a background check as requested.
• Comply with Malaria prophylaxis requirements in country. Requirements include certification that malaria prophylaxis is taken and submission to random testing,
• Speak, read, write English with high fluency.
• Wear personal protective equipment (e.g. hardhat, safety glasses, face shields, earplugs, etc.)
• Respond to fire and emergency situations (after appropriate training).
• Work effectively in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
• Work in extremely remote facilities and locations with limited medical personnel and equipment and limited evacuation facilities.
• Travel to/from offshore facilities by helicopter or crew boat with appropriate transfer to/from platform (possibly by ladder, basket, zodiac, etc.).
