Supported by the capability and experience of our dedicated maritime operational management team our services include:

  • Maritime Risk Analysis
  • Risk Assessments and Security Plans
  • Vessel Security Reviews
  • Anti-Piracy Operations
  • Kidnap and Response Consultancy
  • Automated Piracy Threat Assessment System (APTAS)

Our Competent Authority (SSAS) services are overseen from our purpose built 24/7 Response Centre.

We have a centralised logistics team ensuring that we are fully compliant with import, export, embargo requirements and flag state approvals. We hold all necessary licences, including the Open General Trade Control Licence (OGTCL) and the Open Individual Trade Control Licence (OITCL).

We operate in full compliance with IMO guidelines and take a leading role in driving standards and the ethical and professional delivery of security and risk management services. With a seat on the Board of Directors of the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA) for private security service providers, we demonstrate a commitment to the robust consideration of the Human Rights impact of private security and the raising of standards and oversight internationally.

We were recently awarded ISO/PAS 28007 certification for excellence in Maritime and Offshore security provision. See this comment from CEO Andrew Littlejohns on the emphasis Drum Cussac places on Health and Safety and operational delivery.

As a member of the Executive Committee for the Security in Complex Environments Group (SCEG) we demonstrate leadership in the UK industry, engaging with the UK Government to resolve critical issues surrounding standards and accreditation, licencing and training.
